Notice of Public Hearings - Recycling and Use of Campton/Thornton Transfer Station PROPOSED Ordinance

The Towns of Thornton, Campton and Ellsworth will be holding two joint Public Hearings to discuss the proposed Recycling and Use of the Transfer Station Ordinance. 

The first public hearing will be on September 20, 2021 at 5:00 pm at the Campton Town Hall, 12 Gearty Way in Campton and the second will be on September 29, 2021 at 5:00 pm at the Thornton Town Hall, 16 Merrill Access Rd. 

Copies of the proposed ordinance are available at the Campton, Thornton or Ellsworth Town Halls and also at the Campton/Thornton Transfer Station.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Town Administrator Debra Shepard or Transfer Station Manager, Steve Chiocca. 

Due to the size of the Town of Thornton’s conference room for the meeting of September 29, residents are encouraged to participate by zoom whenever possible.
