The Events Committee is responsible for planning and coordinating recreational opportunities and other events. The goal is to promote pride and community spirit among residents, to enhance the image of Thornton and to provide a positive environment in which to attract new residents, businesses and visitors. The committee strives to provide safe and varied events in our community for residents of all ages.

The Events Committee is appointed by the Board of Selectmen.
