As your Town Administrator, I am excited to work for you, the residents of Thornton. Town Staff and I are happy to assist you in any way we can and we are committed to providing the best customer and community services possible.
The Town Administrator is appointed by the Board of Selectmen to function as the Administrative Officer of the Town and is responsible for the proper administration of all departments of town government.
The Town Administrator serves at the pleasure of the Board of Selectmen and carries out policy decisions of the Board, oversees all property owned by the Town of Thornton and is responsible to keep the Board of Selectmen informed regarding all relevant issues or events and to make reports as required by law or upon request of the Board of Selectmen or as judged necessary by the Administrator.
The Town Administrator takes part in all discussion that come before the Board of Selectmen but acts in a non-voting advisory capacity.
