New Police Department Phone System

The Thornton Police Department has upgraded our phone system. Now when you call the police department at 603-726-4222 and no one is in the building or available to take your call the phone will be answered by an auto attendent directing you to the various options. When calling and need to speak to an officer, listen to the auto attendnent and when prompted press 3, which will take you to Plymouth Dispatch. Plymouth Dispatch will then raise an officer over the radio to have them contact you or respond to your location. The phone system no longer automatically rolls over to dispatch so it is important to follow the prompts. There is also a general voice mailbox you can leave a message on and the on-duty officer will call you back once he or she arrives back at the police department.
