Re: Notice of Decision in Appeal of Building Permit #2011-28

 

 

      As you know, the Thornton Zoning Board of Adjustment held a public meeting on

October 24, 2011 at 6:00 PM to consider the appeal filed by you, regarding an appeal of administrative decision made by the Board of Selectmen on September 7, 2011 regarding the issuance of Building Permit #2011-28 issued to Bradford C. Benton & Helen Steele PID 10-03-37 to “tear down damaged structure and replace covered deck”. The appeal alleges various violations of Zoning Ordinance, including Article XIV Flood Plain, Items II, III, V, VI, VII and Article V, Section D. Commercial Zone Re: Outdoor Theaters/Stage.

 

    Some of the allegations made are outside of the Zoning Board of Adjustments jurisdiction.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment determined that in light of the Board of Selectmen’s amendment of October 20, 2011 that added the conditions of going to site plan review and a signed engineered plan compliance with the Towns Flood Plain Ordinance.

 

 

    The Zoning Board of Adjustment voted unanimously that this application is moot.
