The Town of Thornton Local Hazard Mitigation Committee will hold their first of three meetings on Monday, September 20, 2010, 3:00PM at the Town Hall.

The Board of Selectmen and Department Heads of Thornton are looking to the public for volunteers to join and become a part of this important plan to insure that the people of Thornton are safe during a local hazard event.
